In Louisiana, the legal limit of blood alcohol concentration when getting behind the wheel is .08 for adults who are 21 years of age or older. But did you know that rate is even lower if you are 20 years of age or younger? If you are under the age of 21, the legal limit of blood alcohol concentration is .02. Additionally, operators of commercial motor vehicles are subject to a legal limit of .04.
